Management SVEB
Rudolf Strahm has chaired the SVEB since 2009. He studied economics and was a member of the Swiss National Council for many years. Throughout his political career, he was strongly committed to advancing the dual education system. Today he involves himself within the SVEB association for optimising conditions in the sector of adult education.
André Schläfli André Schläfli is the director of SVEB. His main working field is educational policy. He represents the interests of adult education by the federal government, the cantons and private stakeholders. His concern is to strengthen the sector of adult education in Switzerland and to develop new ideas and concepts in this area. Furthermore he is vice president of the International Council of Adult Education (ICAE) and member of the «International Adult and Continuing Education (IACE) Hall of Fame» since 2011.

Bernhard Grämiger, lic. oec. HSG, is deputy director of SVEB. In addition he manages the department of «innovation, marketing and administration» as well as national and international projects for the «promotion of basic skills» and «training in enterprises». He is also engaged in educational policy on regional and national level and he represents the interests of adult education.

Ruth Eckhardt is director of AdA-modular system (train the trainers). She is responsible for all matters relating to the three-stage AdA system (Certificate SVEB, Swiss Federal Certificate, Swiss Federal Diploma and the “equivalence assessment procedure” EAP). Jointly working with the various commissions she focusses on quality assurance and the further development of the AdA system. She is also member of the SVEB management. Ruth Jermann, Senior Adivsor. She initiates, organises and coordinates the Swiss Lernfestival on national level. She is an Expert in Networking and works since 1998 in European Projects, mostly concerning «Celebrate Learning», «Quality Assurance» or Mobility (motivating people to go abroad. In addition she manages the eduQua and ModuQua Head-Offices. eduQua ist the Swiss Label for Quality Assurance in Adult Education.

Office Romadie
Bernadette Morand-Aymon (DES Erziehungswissenschaften UniG, pedagogical sciences), heads the branch office of SVEB for the cantons of Western Switzerland on an 80% work assignment. She is committed to strengthening and stimulating the development of further education in these cantons. Supported by networks she focuses on the fields of basic skills and Train-the-Trainers. She also supports the "Commission Romandie" and the "Conference Romandie" in their work to implement the educational principles of SVEB. In addition she manages the offices Swiss West of eduQua and Train-the-Trainers modular system. These responsibilities also include regional, national and international projects. Office Ticino
Simone Rizzi, lic.sc.com, co-manages the offices of SVEB / FSEA and CFC (Conferenza della Svizzera Italiana per la formazione continua degli adulti) in the Italian part of Switzerland together with Francesca Di Nardo. He is responsible for the Train-the-Trainers system. In addition, he manages and coordinates various projects and activities in the field of continuing education and facilitates the exchange of information between adult education experts. Office Ticino
Francesca Di Nardo, lic.sc.com., is holding a position as research associate on a 60% work assignment in the offices of SVEB / FSEA and the Conferenza della Svizzera Italiana per la formazione continua degli adulti (CFC) in the Italian part of Switzerland. She is also responsible for the Learning Festival and the coordination of various activities and projects of SVEB / FSEA.
