SVEB

Supporting Low-Qualified People

Projects which support low-qualified people are traditionally part of the main objectives of SVEB. With regard to the development of a national continuing education law, this special topic has also been gaining more political relevance. The projects focus mainly on promoting the basic skills of adults. The “ALL study” from 2005 showed that many adults in Switzerland do not have sufficient basic skills to participate fully in social and working life. This group mainly includes adults who have not received a post-compulsory education.
